CuratedSOUF is my heart work...my labor of love, my thank you letter to my ancestors, and to the Souf that raised me right. The one that taught me sweetness, stillness and safety.
This whole thing started because I wanted to remember.
The small, quiet things that made life feel soft before the world got so loud. The smell of lemon and pine after grandma mopped. The hum of cicadas on a heavy summer night when the air felt like syrup. Playing outside with your cousins until the lightening bugs came out. The way your aunties could turn gossip and gospel into the same conversation without missing a beat.
That’s what CuratedSOUF is..a love note to those moments. It’s me packing up everything I miss about being home into these scents.. the comfort, the humor, the conjure, the rootedness. I wanted to create something that would hold us.. that would whisper, “You’re safe here.”
Especially now, when everything outside feels a little too fast and a little too strange.
Every stick of incense, every scent that leaves my hands is made with that same intention: to call spirit back home. To remind us that softness, rest, and ritual aren’t luxuries..they’re how we survive.
This brand was never about perfection or pretty packaging (though we love that too). It’s about feeling. About connection. It’s about lighting these incense and remembering how your great-aunt used to talk to her plants like they were her kids. Or how the church ladies smelled like White Diamonds and peppermint. It’s about finding holiness in the everyday.. in laughter, in care, in scent, in home.
CuratedSOUF is a prayer for the ones trying to stay grounded in a world that keeps spinning too fast. A beacon. A hug. A reminder that we come from something powerful..something that’s still breathing through us every single day.
